Why we try so hard to find love.
Everybody these days are looking for love. Seems like we can not tolerate being alone. So we try again and again at finding the right mate. Some of us have even settled down and married that one special person only to find out they really aren't "THE ONE" as we llike to say. I don't think that it is love we are really looking for i think that it is more about companionship. Someone we can talk to about work, the kids our friends and family. Someone who is always on our side. If you are single(like myself) you have to admit sometimes you really enjoy the single life. Being able to go where and when you want without having to please any one else. Being able to make all the big decisions in your life without having to consider the feelings or wants of another person is great. But when you have a bad/hard day, not having someone to go home to and just get a hug from makes that day so much worst. It's your bad days that make you feel alone. It's those days when you crave for love and attention from that significant other. It's those days when you want to crawl in bed with that special person and just let that day melt away like snow when the sun comes out. So I have decided to stop looking for "LOVE" and look for "FRIENDSHIP" that's a much stronger bond. Friendship can grow into so much more. When you are just friends you are not afraid to show the good and bad side. You are not afraid of saying the wrong thing and you do not have so much pressure on you to be something that you are not. I believe i have found that friend, we can talk about anything from work, school, kids and the lover's who may come and go in our lives. At the end of the day when it's been horrible and now the weather says there is a chance of rain.......I just call up my "FRIEND" and he comes right over to hear about it talk about it and the make me laugh about it. So like i asked before Why do we try so hard to find love....when we should just be looking for friendship and love will come along after.
